The Rest Of The League
The charitable foundations for Manchester United, Norwich City and Everton made up the rest of the top-four biggest charitable spenders in the league. The bottom three teams in terms of the charity spending of their official foundations were Bournemouth, Aston Vill and Leicester City. Apart from Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City had the biggest incomes among the charitable foundations. Aston Villa, Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers were the teams with the three lowest charitable incomes. Premier League clubs made a joint amount of £2.4bn in 2017/18 from broadcast and central commercial revenues, figures from the league show. But that £2.4bn will have been substantially increased by individual club earnings from gate receipts, merchandising, participation in other competitions, sponsorship, transfer fees and other incomes streams. With more and more fundraising opportunities revealing themselves the opportunities for local sports teams are growing significantly. However not all clubs have access to these foundations’ funds and are in need of alternative fundraising methods. If your club falls into this bracket, then perhaps a lottery would benefit your team.
With a regular income your team will be able to plan how to spend the funds effectively. Using them where they’re needed most. If you would like to know more about a Sports Club Lottery, feel free to call us on 0115 888 1 222
