our doorstep.”
Nottinghamshire County FA Business Development Manager, Ricky Stevenson says, “We

as our endorsed Sports Lottery Service. This benefit will support all Nottinghamshire FA
footballing members, we believe this service can support every member with raising vital
funds to support our football community.”
Raise Money With Sports Club Lottery
Every amateur sports club can raise money from a lottery to help them develop, but running
a lottery is time consuming and must be operated in accordance with the Gambling Act
2005.
Sports Club Lottery allows clubs to raise money, with all the administration taken care of and
guarantees 50p in every £1 spent will go directly to the club – To put that in context, the
National lottery gives just 28p in every £1 to good causes.
Players pay by Direct Debit, so once they have joined, clubs receive regular, sustainable and
unrestricted income which doesn’t stop when the season ends. A small lottery with 250
entries each week would raise £6,500 every year and there is no limit to the number of
players who can join. This means year-round income to spend on kit, league fees, pitch hire,
officials; anything a club needs.
The draw takes place every Monday with each entry costing £1 and giving the chance of
winning £25,000.
About the Sports Club Lottery
Sport Club Lottery is administered by Prize Provision Services Ltd a company licensed by
the Gambling Commission as an External Lottery Manager.
Prize Provision Services Director James Rose said, “We are extremely proud to establish a
partnership with the Nottinghamshire FA and we will be working closely with them to identify
local clubs that could benefit from running their own sports club lottery.”

Between 37p and 50p goes straight to your club. The rest is divided into two parts to cover the prizes and to pay for the administration of the lottery itself.
Your club does. Every month they will be transferred the money they raised directly to the clubs bank accounts. From there, it can go towards paying for the clubs costs – be it kit, pitches, equipment or anything else the club needs.
